Dear Japan Club is a monthly snail-mail subscription created for people who love Japan. Each month, you’ll receive a thoughtfully put-together envelope inspired by a different side of Japan, with stories, culture, language, and little paper goodies to collect and enjoy.

Each monthly letter will include:

• A personal letter
• A Japan language or culture card
• Stickers
• A postcard
• A rotating surprise goodie

Mail is sent during the first week of the following month. The monthly sign-up cutoff is the last day of the month.

If you join between the 1st and the last day of the month, you’ll receive the next month’s Dear Japan Club letter. If you join after the month has ended, your first letter will be the following month’s edition.

For example, if you join September 1–30, your first letter will be the October edition, mailed during the first week of October. If you join after September 30, your first letter will be the November edition.

Yes, you can manage or cancel your subscription anytime through your customer portal, along with updating your shipping address, billing information, and other account details.

If you have a recurring subscription, just cancel before your next renewal to avoid being charged for the following month. Once an envelope has already been prepared or mailed, that month’s order cannot be canceled.

Yes! Dear Japan Club makes a perfect gift for a birthday, Christmas, or anyone who loves Japan and Japanese culture. Just enter the recipient’s name and mailing address at checkout, and you can use your own email for the order confirmation. We’ll send the letters directly to them. It’s that simple. 🎁❤️

Not at all! Dear Japan Club is made for everyone who loves Japan, whether you’re completely new to Japanese or already studying the language.

Any Japanese words, phrases, or cultural notes included in your letter are explained in an easy and approachable way, so you can enjoy the club without any prior Japanese knowledge.

Sometimes regular mail can take up to 2 weeks to arrive. 💌

If your Dear Japan Club letter still hasn’t arrived after that time, please contact us at info@studiokokoro.com and we’ll make it right, either by resending your letter or refunding you for the month. 😊

Please also double-check that your mailing address is correct in your customer portal, as an incorrect address is often the cause of delayed or missing mail.
